Nurse or CMA with Clinical Office Experience

Busy ENT Practice Seeking a Compassionate and Dedicated Nurse or Medical Assistant

We are a very busy and well-established ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) practice seeking a Nurse or Medical Assistant who is compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to providing excellent care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and taking vital signs
• Performing allergy skin testing and administering allergy injections
• Assisting physicians with in-office procedures and surgeries
• Scheduling diagnostic tests and procedures (MRI, CT, Labs, Surgeries)
• Obtaining prior authorizations for imaging (CT, MRI) when needed
• Obtaining prior authorizations for medications, when needed
• E-prescribing medications
• Managing and responding to phone messages
• Sterilizing instruments using an autoclave
• Ordering and stocking medical supplies

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Registered Nurse (RN)
• Prior experience in an ENT or similar specialty clinic is a plus
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Bilingual a plus
