At Dream Ranch event venue located in Wolfe City, we are looking to hire part time venue staff member who is local to the area at an hourly rate. Job Summary
The Venue/Event Staff position is a great opportunity for individuals who love working with people and providing exceptional customer service.
Primary duties of the Venue/Event Staff:
1. To assist in the successful execution of various events and functions by providing setup and clean-up service on an event day.
2. provide assistance to guests when needed throughout their event.
3. Does venue tours when a prospective client schedules an appointment.
4. Set up event areas prior to start time
5. Provide assistance to event coordinators as needed
6. Supervise event activities and ensure safety of all participants
7. Break down, clean up, and store event materials after completion
8. Greet and assist attendees as they arrive
9. Answer questions and provide information about the event
10. Resolve complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
11. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the event.
12. Work closely with Venue owners
13. Setup and assist with vendor booths representing the venue if and when needed.
14. Attend networking events on behalf of the venue if owners couldn’t make it.
15. Manage onsite property inventory
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Event industry work experience
3. Previous customer service experience would be a plus
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. Able to work independently and as part of a team
5. Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
6. Able to lift and move event materials up to 25 pounds
7. Flexible to long hours, work nights and weekends as needed
