JOB OVERVIEW – CUSTOM INSTALL TECHNICIAN

This role centers around aftermarket installations and Full Vehicle Customization, including Suspension Systems, Wheels & Tires, Lighting, Exterior Accessories, Interior Enhancements, Performance Modifications and much more across a wide range of makes and models. You will be hands-on in executing high-quality builds while working with professional tools, wiring diagrams, and proven installation processes. Our shop operates at a fast pace with high standards. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and service a wide range of aftermarket components including Suspension Systems, Wheels & Tires, Lighting, and Exterior Accessories
• Perform custom vehicle modifications and upgrades across various makes, models, and vehicle types
• Execute basic to advanced electrical work including wiring, routing, and integration using wiring diagrams and installation guides
• Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting related to installed or existing components
• Ensure all work meets Evolution Motoring’s standards for quality, safety, fitment, and finish
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas in alignment with shop expectations
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and shop resources
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding job status, challenges, and timelines
• Follow all manufacturer guidelines, installation procedures, and safety protocols
• Perform post-install inspections and quality checks to ensure proper function and customer satisfaction
• Adapt to a variety of builds and project scopes, ranging from simple installs to full custom transformations
• Manage time efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines without sacrificing quality

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on Automotive Technician experience (aftermarket/custom installation experience strongly preferred)
• Proven experience installing Suspension Systems, Wheels & Tires, Lighting, or Exterior Accessories
• Working knowledge of Automotive Electrical Systems, including wiring, routing, and use of wiring diagrams
• Ability to perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting related to mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, components, and fitment across multiple makes and models
• Proficient with shop tools, power tools, and standard automotive equipment
• Ability to read and follow manufacturer installation guides, torque specs, and service procedures
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality, precision, and clean installations
• Strong time management and efficiency in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Professional attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Not Required, But Valued)

• Experience with Vehicle Wraps, Paint Protection Film (PPF), or Window Tint
• Background in Audio Systems / Aftermarket Electronics
• Familiarity with Advanced Diagnostics or Performance Tuning
• Basic Fabrication or Custom Modification experience
• ASE Certifications or equivalent training
