About Us

Northeast Texas Railway Company (NETX) is a Class III freight railroad owned by TNW Corporation, providing rail transportation services across approximately 66 miles of rail corridor connecting Greenville, Commerce, Sulphur Springs, and Mount Pleasant, Texas.

NETX serves as a critical transportation link for manufacturers, agricultural businesses, distributors, and industrial customers by connecting Northeast Texas to the North American rail network through Union Pacific and CPKC. In addition to providing safe and reliable freight rail service, NETX is committed to investing in rail infrastructure, supporting existing industries, attracting new business, and strengthening the region's economic competitiveness.

Working closely with local communities, Economic Development Corporations, Chambers of Commerce, and government partners, NETX is focused on preserving and expanding freight rail service, encouraging industrial development, and creating long-term economic opportunities throughout Northeast Texas. Through continued infrastructure investment and strategic partnerships, NETX is dedicated to supporting job creation, private investment, and sustainable economic growth across the communities it serves.
