A Taste of the 1920s

Join us at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum on a journey back in time on Saturday, April 15th. From 5pm - 8pm you will be transported back to the 1920s for an evening of tasting food you may have never tried before and some old-fashioned fun! (I bet it’s been awhile since you’ve played croquet). As you meander around the museum grounds make sure to stop by the Moonshiner’s cabin for some refreshments and appetizers. Have a relaxing time enjoying dessert at Mrs. Ende’s Lawn Party in front of the Ende-Gailliard House. No chocolate chip cookies here - they weren’t invented until 1938! Try on an old-fashioned outfit and get your photo taken. Take a stroll through the museum and partake in the delicious main course . . . shh, we’re still keeping those dishes a secret!
